Head Chef Azam definately has the "ahhhhhhhh" effect when it comes to Baltis. Leading the chefs at Al Frash since 2001, Chef Azam has emerged as one of the best Balti Chefs throughout the UK... Recognition from the like of Jan Moir (The Telegraph) where she stated: a parade of impeccable dishes. The chicken curry is spiked with chilli, carpeted with fresh coriander and practically oscillates with garlic - outlandishly unsociable! The lamb balti is aromatic and tender.
Headlining for Al Frash at the BBC Good Food Show (NEC Birmingham) 2006 and 2007, Chef Azam had spectators literally eating of his hand where his 20minute demo was extended by popular demand to over 90mins!
Representing the great City of Birmingham, Al Frash travelled to Londons Marylebone station where Chef Azam demonstrated to our southern neighbours the simplicity, healthiness and fantastic taste of the Balti ! |
